Before we begin about me
Alright, so you like to know something about me on a personal level? I understand you either a) clicked this page by accident or b) you really like to know something about me personally before we do business or maybe now that we do some business.
Regarding case a) I have to inform you that this web site is about my business and not about me; it is not my personal page. Hence, I don't think it is appropriate that I discuss my personal life on my business web site.
Which brings us to case b) and following are a few things that I think are of value and any interest for you about me personally.
Let me introduce myself
I grew up with computers
I was born before the first PC was introduced to the public and Bill Gates or Steven Jobs started their companies. I think it is kind of funny when I say I grew up with computers because it means something different for today's kids.

I should have been a Cowboy ...
There is this song by Toby Keith I can really relate to. Sometimes I really have this romantic thoughts and my mind wanders off into the prairie: I think I should have been a cowboy. Puff! Then I look at my screen(s) and some code and I think: Well, probably not! I could not live without technology for long, I am afraid.
... or maybe not
I need music, TV, the Internet, my camera(s) for entertainment and most of all, I don't know how to ride a horse. They are amazing, beautiful animals but up close they freak me out! Since there is no such thing as a cowboy without a horse I don't think I will make a good cowboy anyway. At least, I live in Texas and have the history and backdrop all around me.
I can snap easily
In case you wondered: Yes, the picture above is a self portrait taken by yours truly! I like to snap pictures. Photography is a hobby of mine and I am so good with Photoshop that I even thought about starting a business as a Photoshop Professional.
I began with photography long before it became digital. At a time when somebody would have called you insane if you would have believed that one day you can shoot pictures with your telephone. Why would you shoot pictures with a telephone strapped to a wall. Insane!
